On behalf of General Manager Zhao of Quanhua Packaging, project leader Liu Xiaoming announced the official launch of Quanhua Packaging's Smart Factory Construction Project and delivered a mobilization speech.
Director Liu shared with everyone the background of the project, the selection process, and the project objectives. He emphasized that, in the current complex and ever-changing market environment, enterprises are facing uncertainties and challenges brought about by the digital era. Business operations and management decisions require substantial, timely, complete, and reliable data to adapt to market changes and enhance the company's core competitiveness. Through this project, Quanhua Packaging aims to establish its own digital foundation, achieve closed-loop management of the entire business process and data, realize the integration of informatization and industrialization, and advance intelligentization. The goal is to shorten order delivery cycles, improve order processing and production efficiency, reduce various costs, stabilize product quality, and enhance customer experience. Ultimately, this will build Quanhua Packaging's soft power and foster new quality productivity, ushering in a new phase of high-quality and sustainable development for the company.
In conclusion, Director Liu stated that the success of the project requires the collective efforts of everyone. Senior leadership of the company will fully support and drive the project forward, while active cooperation from various business departments, strong support from the IT department, and proactive engagement from all employees are also essential. Quanhua Packaging will collaborate with Little Ant Software to ensure the successful launch of the project.
Ji Hao, Project Manager of Little Ant Software, delivered the kick-off meeting report. In his presentation, Manager Ji outlined the project's implementation scope, execution plan, project management organization, implementation methodology, and process management approach.
The Quanhua Smart Factory Project is based on Little Ant’s EBC (Enterprise Business Capability)-driven smart factory solution. The implementation scope covers both software and hardware aspects, including ERP, MES, workshop IoT infrastructure, business-finance integration, smart logistics connectivity, and digital center development. The project is scheduled to be completed within six months and will encompass the entire business process, from opportunity management, R&D, and sales management to production management, supply chain management, quality control, digital workshop operations, and financial cost management.
Industry expert and project general consultant, Mr. Chai, delivered a project kick-off speech, addressing key areas of concern such as the project positioning, objectives, and implementation methodology from two main perspectives: project orientation and execution approach.
Mr. Chai emphasized that the advancement of enterprise informatization, digitalization, and intelligent transformation represents a profound self-reform for the company. Unlike traditional management in physical operational spaces, intelligent projects require the creation of a virtual operational environment, enabling various roles and positions to accomplish the majority of their tasks within this digital space. In this intangible and abstract environment, it becomes even more critical to strengthen all types of standards, including product realization standards, foundational support standards, and role-specific standards. Guided by lean principles and leveraging value chain analysis, existing business processes must be reorganized and optimized, and business rules established. Data, standards, and rules will then drive business processes and operational tasks efficiently, aiming to shorten order delivery cycles while balancing cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and risk control.
Finally, the project team will remain committed to taking the project objectives as the starting point and ultimate goal. By combining Quanhua Packaging's current status, project goals, and strategic objectives, and referencing IBM's process consulting methodology and tools, as well as relevant international, national, industry, and organizational standards for smart factories, the team will proceed pragmatically, uphold integrity while embracing innovation, and work diligently to achieve the project's objectives
